Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy Update June 1, 2020

Dear Guest, Travel Partners and Friends of Cibolo Creek Ranch,

As we collectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cibolo Creek Ranch continues to ensure that guest and employee health and safety remains our top priority.

Our Hotel opens on June 18, 2020 and we continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and to abide by all local health authorities. As a result, restaurant and facility services and hours of operation may be modified in order to comply with social distancing regulations, and some of our facilities may be temporarily closed.

We do recommend that everyone entering the property comply with Center for Disease Control & Prevention recommendations.

No person may enter Cibolo Creek Ranch if that person is sick or has been in close contact with anyone who is exhibiting COVID-19 related symptoms.

All guests, employees and contractors will be screened at the Cibolo Creek Ranch Office.  Any person showing signs of cough, fever, tiredness, difficulty breathing, will be denied entry to the Resort.

The times we are now living in require us to go even further to reassure and satisfy the “New Normal” of hospitality and travel, and below are some of the measures that we are taking:

Social Distancing Protocols

Reopening the hotel with reduced occupancy.

Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) for all staff with spare face masks in house for our guests. All guests encouraged to stay 6 feet apart.

Repositioning our public areas to provide maximum space and privacy.

Mobile check-in and check out, pre arrival dining and activities reservations and use of the hotel facilities will be encouraged to limit face-to-face interaction.

Business center, gift shop, fitness room, media room and pool will reopen following applicable government laws and regulations due to limited space for social distancing.

Increasing private dining and in room dining without additional costs (no delivery charge).

Maximizing table spacing in restaurant:

Dining tables are spaced out 6 feet apart.

Maximum seating per table 6pp (same party). Set up otherwise for 4pp per table.

Dining room reservations required prior to arrival at time of room reservation:

11:30am – 1:30pm spaced seating 6:30pm – 8pm spaced seating 

Limiting transfers and excursions to a maximum of 5 people (or one family if greater) – including driver/guide.

Cleaning and Sanitizing Protocols

Cibolo Creek Ranch increased the frequency of cleaning procedures in “public areas (including Dining areas, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.)” with hospital-grade disinfectant and closely following WHO and CDC recommendations.

All day cleaning and sanitizing public areas.

Convenient and abundant sanitizing amenities throughout the hotel for guests and staff usage.

Unless otherwise requested Cibolo Creek Ranch will clean all guests rooms after departure and let rooms breath fresh air 24 hours after guest check out.

Flexibility for guests to advise when and how frequently they would like their accommodation serviced.

An entire replacement and replenishment of all guest in-room amenities following each guest departure.

All persons visiting or working at Cibolo Creek Ranch are strongly encouraged to wash their hands frequently and engage in safe hygiene practices.

This COVID-19 Policy is subject to further update and revision.
